At Granite & Marble UK, we select and source the finest natural and man made stones from all around the world.
Our workshop is a bit like entering a time machine, we are proud to say all our products are predominately hand crafted by highly skilled artisans working for our firm since the day of establishment. Our team love and respect the Marble, Granite and Quartz stone that they work with, and work long and hard to handcraft each project for our clients.
We use a fine balance of technology as well as manual skills in our workshop – where each finished piece highlights the capability and passion of our skilled stone masons.

How We Began
Incorporated originally in the 1990s-operating out of a shared yard- our founder and ambitious Greek businessman Yanis Apostolopoulos managed to establish himself in the UK as a importer in the natural stone business – mainly importing Greek Thassos Marble.
We established ourselves as fabricators and fixing contractors in the Vauxhall area producing bathroom vanities & kitchen worktops and tiles. We serve the local London area with a fine track record of over 10,000 kitchen worktops produced over the years.
Yani Apostolopoulos
We thank him for his contribution and service to Granite & Marble UK Ltd from 1990-2018 – Yiannis has left a everlasting mark in the UK Natural Stone Market.
Demetri Apostol
Owner
Demetri has grown up admiring the natural marvels of stone. He is now working on expanding the domestic and global presence of Granite & Marble UK Ltd.
He has over 7 years of experience in the industry, having worked in the family business part time since his early teens.

George Maroulas
Managing Director
George has been serving as the secretary of Granite & Marble U.K. ltd for over 15 years. In 2018 he was appointed the new managing director.
George previously ran his own high end kitchen showroom Stone Emporium in Chelsea. He has a great passion for the industry and a wealth of knowledge of marble, granite and quartz stones.
Marty Carrol
Sales Manager
Marty was headhunted in the late 90s to be part of the team at Granite & Marble UK Ltd. He has a vast experience in natural stone having previously worked for other respected firms in the London area. Marty has a passion for customer service and interaction. Our clients love to work with him as he is always keen to share his knowledge, and provide the best service.
